Kids Restorative Dentistry
Effective solutions to restore smiles
At our pediatric dental practice, we understand that despite our best efforts, cavities and dental injuries can still happen. That’s why we offer gentle and effective restorative dental care to repair damaged teeth and restore your child’s smile. With a kid-friendly approach and state-of-the-art techniques, we help kids feel at ease and confident when sitting in the dental chair!
Teeth Fillings
Cavities are one of the most common dental issues in children. When decay is caught early, a tooth-colored filling can restore the tooth’s shape, strength, and function while blending seamlessly with the natural enamel. Our composite fillings are:
- BPA-free and safe for children
- Color-matched to your child’s tooth
- Durable and long-lasting
Our gentle approach minimizes discomfort, making the experience as stress-free as possible for your child.
Dental Crowns
When a tooth has significant decay or has been fractured, a dental crown may be the best option to protect it from further damage and restore normal chewing and appearance. We offer kid-friendly crowns that protect fragile teeth while maintaining a natural look.
Crowns are custom-fitted and placed in a single visit, ensuring quick relief and protection for your child’s smile.
Pulp Therapy
If decay or trauma reaches the soft inner tissue of a baby tooth (called the pulp), pulp therapy may be needed to save the tooth. This treatment helps avoid early tooth loss, which can lead to spacing issues and speech or chewing difficulties. Types of pulp therapy:
- Pulpotomy: Removal of infected pulp in the crown portion of the tooth; the root is left intact
- Pulpectomy: Complete removal of infected pulp when the damage is more extensive
These procedures are safe, common, and help preserve your child’s baby teeth until they’re naturally ready to fall out. We prioritize your child's comfort and care throughout the procedure.
