Our Insurance Department and Patient Finance Representatives are here to help make the process simple and stress-free by assisting with insurance claims, payment options, and financing solutions for your family.
Insurance
Our team works hard to ensure your paperwork is filed accurately and promptly so you can receive the maximum dental benefits your plan allows. We file claims with hundreds of insurance companies and will gladly help you understand your coverage and estimate your out-of-pocket costs whenever possible.
We accept assignment of insurance benefits and will submit claims directly to your insurance carrier on your behalf. However, your portion of the bill is due at or before the time services are rendered.
As the dental plan beneficiary, we encourage you to become familiar with your policy’s benefits, limitations, and exclusions.
Medicaid
Village Kids Dentistry provides affordable dental care for families with NC Medicaid dental coverage. Medicaid covers dental services for children as part of a comprehensive set of health benefits designed to support lifelong oral health.
Covered services for children may include:
- Relief of pain and infections
- Restoration of teeth
- Preventive and routine dental care
- Maintenance of dental health

Uninsured or Underinsured?
Village Kids Dentistry provides a discounted care program for patients who are uninsured or underinsured and may have limited means to pay for medical or dental services. Eligibility is based on a family’s ability to pay using HHS Poverty Guidelines.
Our front desk team can provide additional information about qualification requirements and available financial assistance options. We are committed to helping every child receive the dental care they need.
CareCredit® Financing
We offer CareCredit® as a flexible third-party financing option for qualified patients and families. CareCredit® can help make dental treatment more manageable with convenient monthly payment plans, including:
- 0% financing options for 6–12 months for qualified applicants
- Extended payment plans for larger treatment needs
- Quick and easy application process
